Job summary

The ideal candidate will demonstrate cultural sensitivity and the ability to interpret federal immigration regulations, deliver workshops, and communicate effectively

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Banner, Ellucian software and SEVIS federal databases.
• Strong communication skills (listening, speaking, writing).
• Problem-solving abilities to work with diverse faculty/staff clientele and international student population.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Outlook, with a strong working knowledge of Excel.

Responsibilities

• Advise F-1 and J-1 students on immigration compliance and related topics.
• Provide guidance on travel, enrollment, work authorization, and program extensions.
• Facilitate employment workshops and coordinate with campus partners.
• Support culturally diverse international student population.
