Job summary
Genesis seeks an International Registered Nurse (RN) to begin with a structured orientation and training program. You will participate in job shadowing and online training before direct patient care begins, ensuring licensing requirements are completed.
During orientation you will observe care planning, delegation, and staff supervision, and learn to adjust care plans to meet patient goals and reduce readmissions. A valid nursing license and BLS/CPR are required.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing is required.
- Must be licensed or have license endorsement pending in the assigned state.
- Must read, write, speak and understand English to ensure safety and wellbeing of patients.
- Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured orientation and training program with no direct patient care until licensing requirements are met.
- Complete online training and compliance modules as required.
- Job shadowing along with orientation activities.
- Under supervision, observe and learn viewing patient care and care planning.
- Observe delegation of tasks to staff and ensure interventions are implemented per policy.
- Watch how to evaluate and adjust the plan of care to minimize readmissions.
