Job summary

Genesis is hiring an International Registered Nurse – RN who will begin a structured orientation with no direct patient care until licensing requirements are met. The program includes job shadowing, online training, and compliance modules as required, under supervision by RN Nursing Supervisor or Unit leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English for patient safety and communication.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program with active licensure or awaiting endorsement.

Responsibilities

• View implementing and managing patient care
• Watch care planning
• Observe how to delegate care responsibilities to staff
• Watch staff supervision to ensure that delegated tasks and interventions are implemented appropriately and per policy
• Observe how to evaluate and adjust the plan of care to achieve patient goals and minimize re-hospitalizations.
