Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA seeks an International Programs Systems Engineer (Project Engineer- International Programs & Enterprise Architect) to provide technical support and coordinate with counterparts to advance MILSATCOM and related space systems programs. Travel ~25% and active TS/SCI clearance are required.

The role emphasizes leadership, cross‑agency coordination, and ITAR/export control compliance within a federal program portfolio, including BMC3I and AATS areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields required.
• 6+ years of increasing responsibility in engineering/technical roles.
• Experience in space systems engineering, acquisition, design, test, and production.
• Willing to travel domestically/internationally ~25%.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with potential for SAP access (U.S. citizenship required).
• Ability to work with US government on space systems acquisition and engineering presentations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and programmatic knowledge to USG customers for international space security partnerships.
• Lead and facilitate discussions between US stakeholders and international partners for interoperable space systems.
• Apply leadership to enable collaboration across Aerospace and USG organizations and SSC programs.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to develop partnerships and agreements relevant to US war fighters.
• Execute Building Partner Capacity and institutional capacity building initiatives with major programs.
• Ensure ITAR compliance and export control considerations in international armaments cooperation.
