Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA (and Crystal City, VA) seeks a Senior Project Engineer – Capture Management to lead international growth, develop strategies, and close major opportunities for Five Eyes nations.

You will manage CRM pipelines, coordinate with capture, proposals, and cross‑functional teams, travel internationally as needed, and help expand our mission for government customers while navigating ITAR and security constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physical science, or related technical discipline.
• 12+ years of technical space experience in FFRDC, UARC, industry, or federally funded laboratory.
• 4+ years developing international space partnerships and closing opportunities (10–100 FTEs or $2M–$25M).
• Knowledge of international military space programs, budgets, and cooperation.
• ITAR, EAR, USML, TAA export controls knowledge.
• Ability to lead and build relationships across levels.
• Experience with enterprise CRM systems and data-driven metrics.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally (5–15%).
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the growth pipeline for targeted Five Eye nations.
• Lead campaign development, capture activities, and proposal efforts.
• Manage CRM systems for international opportunities and support other programs.
• Develop and execute growth strategies with International division and LOB leadership.
• Expand the market for Aerospace FFRDC-like services to government customers.
• Collaborate across capture, proposal, program management, contracts, legal, and pricing teams.
• Track growth metrics, ROI, and maintain CRM databases.
