Job summary

CPMG, a leader in cyber-focused research and DoD contracting, seeks a Program Analyst (ECON) to provide programmatic, research, and interagency coordination support for foreign policy development and implementation.

Responsibilities include monitoring economic policy issues, drafting briefing materials, coordinating with U.S. government agencies and international bodies, and preparing summaries. Salary range $85,000–$100,000 and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in international relations, economics, political science, or related field; or two years college + two years relevant experience.
Four years combined work experience in international affairs; graduate degree acceptable in lieu of two years.
Experience with Microsoft Office to create professional documents.
Must have a Secret Clearance.
Familiarity with multilateral organizations and diplomatic processes.
Experience conducting policy research for senior decision-makers.

Responsibilities

Monitor, analyze, and report on economic, development, trade, energy, and related policy issues.
Draft briefing memoranda, talking points, and policy recommendations for leadership.
Track activities of committees and intergovernmental bodies addressing economic growth and policy matters.
Prepare analytical reports on regional economic trends and developments affecting U.S. interests.
Support U.S. participation in meetings by drafting interventions and summaries.
Coordinate with State and interagency partners to ensure policy consistency.
Prepare summaries of meetings and maintain databases and trackers.
