Job summary

Guitar Center Distribution Center is seeking an International Logistics Specialist to manage inbound international shipments and keep information moving between vendors, service providers, internal teams, and Enterprise Distribution Centers.

The role requires strong Excel and Access skills, familiarity with WMS/TMS systems, and ability to collaborate across multiple functions to ensure compliance and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• International logistics experience, Incoterms, and CBP regulations preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Access experience preferred for large datasets and databases.
• Familiarity with WMS and TMS systems (PKMS / e2Open / Smart Info / JDA) desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with vendors, carriers, and internal partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound international shipments and ensure shipping requirements are met.
• Maintain and analyze international logistics data in Excel/Access; generate reports.
• Review commercial documents and bills of lading for US Customs compliance.
• Coordinate container manifests and information with drayage companies and DC facilities.
• Enter shipment data into TMS and PKMS systems and monitor OS&Ds.
