Guitar Center Distribution Center is seeking an International Logistics Specialist to manage inbound international shipments and maintain smooth information flow between vendors, service providers, and Enterprise Distribution Centers.

The role emphasizes handling shipments, maintaining reports, and ensuring compliance with customs requirements, using Excel, Access, and various TMS/WMS tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, college degree preferred.
• International logistics experience with Incoterms and customs knowledge preferred.
• Strong MS Excel skills; Access experience with large datasets desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with vendors, carriers, and internal partners.
• Strong organizational skills and accuracy in data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound international shipments and ensure requirements are met.
• Handle international logistics reporting and metrics using Excel and Access.
• Maintain Access databases with status of shipments.
• Prepare and distribute logistics reports and ensure data integrity.
• Review documents and bills of lading for US Customs compliance.
• Coordinate container manifests with drayage and distribution centers.
