Job summary

Guitar Center Distribution Center is seeking an International Logistics Specialist to manage inbound international shipments and maintain seamless information flow among vendors, internal teams, and Enterprise Distribution Centers.

The role requires strong Excel and Access skills, familiarity with WMS/TMS systems, and the ability to coordinate across borders, including Canada, while upholding US Customs requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Experience with international logistics; Incoterms and customs knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; Access/database experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound international shipments and ensure shipping requirements are met.
• Generate and maintain international logistics reports and metrics using Excel and Access data tables.
• Update and maintain Access databases for shipment statuses and tracking.
• Prepare, distribute and verify logistics reports for data integrity.
• Review commercial documents and bills of lading for US Customs compliance.
• Coordinate container manifests and shipping information with drayage providers and facilities.
• Enter shipment data into TMS and PKMS systems.
• Coordinate Canadian border crossings and related approvals.
• Audit ocean carrier and drayage invoices for accuracy.
• Foster a culture aligned with company values and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Assist with other Logistics or Distribution Center projects as needed.
