Job summary

Guitar Center Distribution Center is seeking an International Logistics Specialist to manage inbound international shipments and ensure a smooth flow of information between vendors, internal teams, and distribution centers. The role requires strong Excel and Access skills, familiarity with TMS/PKMS/WMS systems, and knowledge of Incoterms and CBP regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, college degree preferred.
• International Logistics experience with knowledge of Incoterms, CBP regulations preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel; Access experience preferred with large datasets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to interact with vendors, carriers, and internal partners.
• Strong organizational skills and accuracy in data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and approve inbound international shipments, ensuring requirements are met.
• Handle international logistics reporting and metrics using Excel and Access data tables.
• Update and maintain Access databases with shipment status information.
• Prepare and distribute logistics reports while ensuring data integrity.
• Review bills of lading to ensure compliance with US Customs requirements.
• Coordinate container manifests and shipping information with drayage companies and facilities.
• Enter container and PO data into TMS and PKMS systems.
• Audit ocean carrier, broker, and drayage invoices for accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support logistics projects.
