Job summary

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support international shipping operations for a leading transportation and supply chain organization in Southfield, MI. This on-site contract role offers a pay rate of $21.00/hour and a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST schedule with potential for contract-to-hire.

The role emphasizes accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering customer service.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
Strong attention to detail.
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and support international shipments from PO issuance to final delivery.
Maintain accurate shipment information, routing details, dates, documentation, and INCOTERMS.
Respond to customer inquiries and provide shipment updates.
Execute shipment tasks per SOPs and service requirements.
Ensure data accuracy in shipment records and systems.
Assist with preparing and processing customer quotes.
Communicate with customers, vendors, agents, and internal teams.
Build relationships across departments and support teams.
Maintain compliance with procedures and customer requirements.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
