Job summary

Henry Schein, Inc. is seeking an International and Hazard Transportation Supervisor to ensure compliant export, domestic, and hazmat shipments at the Denver Distribution Center. The role guides staff and international representatives in pursuit of regulatory compliance and safe shipping practices.

Responsibilities include training, supervision, and coordinating with Customer Service and Trade Compliance to resolve international and hazard-related shipment issues. Travel is typically under 10%.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of regulations applicable to export, domestic, and hazardous shipments.
• In-depth knowledge of hazmat classifications, IATA/DOT regulations.
• Knowledge of International, Federal, State and local compliance when shipping hazardous items.

Responsibilities

• Assess new item creation to determine SDS requirements and obtain SDS from supplier.
• Review supplier documentation to classify items for hazmat shipping.
• Supervise team including hiring, performance reviews, and attendance management.
