Amentum is seeking a qualified Forensic Digital Evidence Advisor to mentor host-country experts on training, techniques, and procedures for digital evidence collection, preservation, triage, examination, and court reporting. The advisor will train on OS concepts and various evidence sources, including phones and computers, and oversee tools used for extraction and analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related digital evidence examination experience.
• Must have working level experience using Detego, Magnet AXIOM, EnCase, and/or Autopsy.
• Experience training other forensic examiners and first responders.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor host-country examiners on OS, digital forensics, chain of custody, and forensic report writing.
• Advise partners on procurement, testing, use, and maintenance of digital extraction and analysis tools.
• Deliver specialized instruction in security assessments, link analysis, and digital evidence exploitation.
• Lead working groups, facilitate bilateral meetings, and draft comprehensive technical reports for U.S. government stakeholders.
• Assist host-country labs in developing quality management systems and SOPs, aligning with international standards.
