Job summary

Amentum, contracted with ICITAP/DoJ, seeks a qualified Forensic Digital Evidence Advisor to mentor host-country experts in digital forensics, from collection through court production. You will train on OS, devices, and evidence handling, and advise on tool use and chain of custody.

The role includes leading working groups, preparing technical reports, and assisting labs in QA/QC and ISO-aligned practices, with security clearances required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related digital evidence examination experience.
• Working level experience with Detego, Magnet AXIOM, EnCase or Autopsy.
• Experience training other forensic examiners and first responders.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust US Government Clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor host-country examiners on OS, digital forensics, chain of custody, and report writing.
• Advise on procurement, testing, use, and maintenance of digital extraction tools.
• Deliver instruction in security assessments, link analysis, and digital evidence exploitation.
• Lead meetings, draft technical reports and briefings for US government stakeholders.
• Assist host-country labs in quality systems and SOP alignment with standards.
