Job summary

Amentum is seeking a qualified Forensic Digital Evidence Advisor to mentor host country experts in mobile and computer forensics under ICITAP. The role covers collection, preservation, triage, examination, analysis, and court production of digital evidence, including chain of custody and reporting.

The advisor will train on operating systems, evidence extraction tools, and best practices, while coordinating with US DoS/DOJ officials.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related digital evidence examination experience.
• Experience using Detego, Magnet AXIOM, EnCase and/or Autopsy.
• Experience training forensic examiners and first responders.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Clearable: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust US Government Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor host-country examiners on operating systems, digital forensics best practices, chain of custody management, and forensic report writing.
• Advise partners on the procurement, testing, use, and maintenance of digital extraction and analysis tools.
• Deliver specialized instruction in security assessments, link analysis, and digital evidence exploitation.
• Lead working groups, facilitate bilateral meetings, and draft comprehensive technical reports and progress briefings for U.S. government stakeholders.
• Assist host-country labs in developing quality management systems, reviewing SOPs, and aligning with international forensic standards.
