Anthropic seeks a seasoned technical advisor for governments and international bodies to explain frontier AI capabilities, safety considerations, and policy implications. Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in customer engineering or related roles with governments or public sector.
• Experience in technology policy, AI safety, cybersecurity, or international affairs.
• Designed innovative solutions for technical platforms in mission-focused areas.
• Familiarity with how AI models are evaluated and tested for safety.
• Strong programming aptitude, at least one language (Python preferred).
• Understanding of LLM fundamentals and AI safety principles.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt across domains for practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across engineers and officials.
• Passion for safe, beneficial AI and cross-organizational collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary technical advisor for senior officials in partner governments and AISIs.
• Collaborate with Policy, Product, Research, and Engineering to demonstrate Claude capabilities.
• Lead onboarding, enablement, and workshops for partner institutions on Claude tools.
• Represent international partners and align with Product and Research teams on requested capabilities.
• Travel internationally for senior meetings and relationship building.
• Define a shared vision for safe, beneficial AI solutions.
• Lead strategy and execution of innovative Claude-based solutions.
