Job summary

Athene is seeking an Internal Wholesaler to support our Independent Broker Dealer (IBD) distribution channel. You will partner with Regional Vice Presidents to grow advisor relationships, increase annuity sales, and deliver exceptional service to financial professionals.

The role requires consultative product expertise, execution of strategic territory plans, and the ability to help advisors deliver retirement income solutions that meet evolving client needs.

Qualifications

• FINRA Series 6 license required within 12 months of hire.
• Progress toward or completion of industry designations (e.g., LIMRA, LOMA, CLU, ChFC, RICP) preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems and annuity illustration software preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory business plans to grow advisor relationships and annuity sales.
• Conduct proactive outbound prospecting and provide consultative product support and ideas.
• Coordinate webinars, calls, and marketing campaigns with advisor engagement activities.
• Maintain accurate CRM documentation and ensure regulatory and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with internal partners to resolve operational issues and improve advisor experience.
• Leverage data and AI-enabled resources to prioritize opportunities and enhance territory performance.
