Job summary

Vandergriff Chevrolet in Arlington, TX seeks an Internal Service Advisor to oversee vehicle reconditioning for inventory. You’ll coordinate with Used Car, Sales, Service, Parts, and vendors to ensure repairs meet quality, budget, and timeline targets.

Strong dealership experience and proficiency with CDK Dealer Services, Xtime, and V-Auto are required. Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous dealership experience required.
• Experience as Internal Service Advisor or Recon Manager preferred.
• Working knowledge of CDK Dealer Services, Xtime, and vAuto required.
• Excellent communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming trade-ins and inventory to determine reconditioning needs.
• Open, manage, and close internal repair orders using CDK.
• Use V-Auto to prioritize inventory based on age and sales needs.
• Schedule and monitor reconditioning through Xtime and dealership workflows.
• Write repair orders detailing required work for technicians.
• Coordinate repairs with Service, Parts, and vendors.
• Review inspections and repair estimates for accuracy.
• Maintain records and reporting in dealership systems.
