Job summary

HonorHealth Internal Medicine Residency Program at Thompson Peak Medical Center is seeking a dedicated physician to join as Core Faculty Member or Associate Program Director, depending on experience. The role involves inpatient hospital medicine shifts and leadership in POCUS curriculum and resident assessment.

You will mentor residents and medical students, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in quality improvement, and contribute to program committees and didactic activities.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school required.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine required.
• Arizona license eligibility preferred.
• Experience in hospital medicine and medical education is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care with ~8 hospital medicine shifts per month.
• Supervise and mentor residents and medical students during rotations.
• Develop and lead the POCUS curriculum for residents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based practices.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program committees.
