Job summary

The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. is offering a 12-month Junior Faculty Fellow position in Clinical Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) within the Central Valley Emergency Medicine Residency Program, based in Modesto/Manteca, California.

The fellowship blends clinical shifts with protected time for education, research, and leadership development in POCUS. Candidates are EM-trained physicians who aim to advance as POCUS directors and clinician-educators within TPMG’s integrated health system, with

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency required or equivalent.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Emergency Medicine as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical Emergency Medicine within TPMG’s Central Valley network.
• Supervise and teach residents, medical students, and other learners during shifts.
• Provide bedside POCUS instruction, feedback, and supervision.
