Job summary

Avera Brookings Clinic, a Department of Brookings Health System, seeks a Medical Doctor to provide and manage direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and patient care within a defined practice area. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Primary responsibilities include diagnosing, treating, educating patients and families, maintaining records, and collaborating with care team to coordinate referrals.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine in the state where services are provided.
• Board certification or eligibility required for MD/DO.
• DEA license required at hire.”

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients per approved protocols.
• Provides medical services and health education to patients and families.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Interprets diagnostic information and plans care.
• Maintains patient records accurately.
• Collaborates with the care team for referrals and care coordination.
