Job summary

Avera Brookings Clinic in Brookings, SD, is seeking a physician to provide and manage direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and patient care within an established practice area. The role includes on-call responsibilities and collaboration with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients, educating patients and families, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients according to medical staff approved protocol and acceptable standards of practice.
• Provides medical services and health education to patients and family members.
• Performs necessary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Interprets information gathered during the diagnostic process and formulates appropriate plan of care.
• Maintains patient records and accurate information.
