Job summary

Encore Capital Group is seeking an Internal Legal Specialist to handle processing of affidavits and legal documents within the legal collections channel. You will read, validate, and manage large volumes of documents, ensure accuracy, and partner with the operations and legal teams to meet monthly goals.

The role requires a High School Diploma and 1–2 years of customer service or clerical experience, with strong Microsoft Office skills and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Read, validate and process affidavits and legal documents.
• Review account detail and complete tasks for accounts in the Legal Channel.
• Ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide tracking and reporting on daily processes and financial performance.
• Collaborate with operations leadership, team members, paralegals and attorneys to meet monthly production goals.
• Oversee and suggest improvements to daily processes.
