Job summary
Midland Credit Management, part of Encore Capital Group, seeks an Internal Legal Specialist to handle affidavits and legal documents within the legal collections channel. You will validate documents, review account details, and support filing efforts, collaborating with attorneys and paralegals to meet monthly goals.
The role requires a High School Diploma and 1–2 years of clerical or customer service experience, with strong data entry and MS Office skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with data entry and strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Good written and verbal communication abilities.
- Detail oriented with a goal-driven mindset.
- Ability to validate and process legal documents and affidavits.
Responsibilities
- Read, validate and process large quantities of affidavits and legal documents.
- Review account level detail and complete tasks for accounts in the Legal Channel.
- Provide regular tracking and reporting on adherence to daily processes and/or financial performance.
- Partner with operations leadership, team members, paralegals and attorneys to meet monthly production goals.
- Oversee and suggest improvements to daily automated and manual processes.
