Job summary

Great Basin Industrial in Kaysville, UT is seeking a Craft Recruiter to identify, attract, and hire skilled craft professionals for industrial construction projects. The role is in-office with up to 25% travel and involves proactive sourcing and building strong pipelines.

You will represent GBI at welding schools, trade programs, career fairs, and events, engaging candidates from students to experienced tradespeople, and collaborate with project teams to forecast workforce needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable proactively contacting candidates via phone, text, email, social media.
• Strong organization to manage multiple open roles and pipelines.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for recruiting events.
• Ability to represent the company professionally to partners and candidates.

Responsibilities

• Recruit qualified craft professionals for current and upcoming projects.
• Proactively source candidates through Workable, job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.
• Review applications and conduct initial screenings to assess fit.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-demand positions.
• Develop relationships with welding schools and trade programs for talent.
• Represent GBI at career fairs and events to promote opportunities.
• Coordinate interviews, offers, and pre-employment requirements.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in Workable.
• Travel up to 25% for recruiting initiatives.
