Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a proactive Communications Specialist to support regional internal communications calendars, draft CEO and leadership messages, and assist with employee engagement campaigns.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent), strong writing/editing skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Canva is preferred. On-site work at a DHL location is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in communications, journalism, marketing or business.
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years' experience in internal communications or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the regional internal communications calendar and recurring business communications.
• Draft and coordinate CEO, NMB and leadership communications.
• Support leadership calls, town halls, employee forums and organizational announcements.
• Develop communications for regional initiatives and employee engagement campaigns.
• Create multimedia content, including videos, graphics and digital communications.
• Support regional Smart Connect publishing, governance, adoption and training.
• Create employee stories and leadership messages; provide templates and toolkits.
• Coordinate sensitive or time-critical internal communications with stakeholders.
• Monitor channel performance and use insights to improve communication effectiveness.
• Maintain brand and communications alignment with DHL Group guidelines.
