Job summary

Disney Vacation Club is seeking a Communications Coordinator to join the Sales Operations Team in Anaheim, CA. You will develop and execute internal communication plans, create branded materials, and align messaging with global partners to drive engagement and business results.

From coordinating events and video projects to supporting employee recognition and culture initiatives, you will manage timelines, collaborate across functions, and maintain content platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in communications or related field with demonstrated project coordination.
• Experience developing internal communication plans for internal audiences.
• Experience creating branded communication materials, presentations and visuals.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners and stakeholders.
• Strong project management, relationship management and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of AP Style and proofreading standards.
• Experience using SharePoint, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva or similar tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Video production hands-on experience (camera, audio, lighting, editing).
• Schedule availability to include weekends, variable shifts and holidays.
• Trusted to maintain confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communication plans that support organizational initiatives, Sales programs, employee engagement and business priorities.
• Create and distribute written communications, presentations, visual materials and other branded content for internal audiences.
• Partner with global leaders and stakeholders across multiple time zones to gather information, align messaging and support communication needs.
• Coordinate projects from concept through execution, managing timelines, deliverables, approvals, stakeholder communications and implementation plans.
• Support employee engagement, recognition, and culture-building initiatives through strategic communication planning and execution.
• Plan and execute events, meetings, celebrations, recognition programs, and engagement activities, including logistics and day-of support.
• Support video production initiatives, including coordinating filming, operating camera/audio, capturing footage and editing.
• Collaborate with Production on video projects including pre-production planning and post-production support.
• Collaborate with internal partners to develop experiences and programs that enhance Cast engagement and culture.
• Monitor communication effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions.
• Maintain communication platforms and content repositories to ensure information is accurate and accessible.
• Support additional Sales Operations initiatives and special projects as assigned.
