Job summary

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Coordinator, Internal Communications to inform, connect, and engage employees across the organization.

You will support the day-to-day delivery of internal communications, employee events, digital content, and culture initiatives that align with the Chamber’s priorities and Shared Purpose. Reporting to the senior director of Internal and Executive Communications, the role collaborates with Communications, HR, Events, and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, events, or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and project-management abilities with multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across the organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience creating and supporting employee events, video or multimedia content is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day execution of the internal editorial calendar across email, newsletters, intranet, digital signage, video, and other channels.
• Draft, edit, and publish internal communications, newsletters, intranet stories, announcements, events, and FAQs.
• Support production of The Champion newsletter, including content collection, reviews, approvals, and performance tracking.
• Maintain the intranet as a reliable source of employee news and resources.
• Assist in planning and executing employee meetings, town halls, recognition programs, and internal events.
• Support employee engagement and culture-focused programs and campaigns.
