Job summary

General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) seeks an experienced internal communications professional to design and manage content using PowerPoint, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Forms, and Adobe Creative Cloud. This role partners with senior leaders to translate complex information into engaging visuals and standardized guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years in communications, marketing, or design.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint with templates and data visualization.
• Hands-on SharePoint Online governance and Forms usage for reports and dashboards.
• Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, and Acrobat expertise.
• Knowledge of internal communications principles and UX for digital content.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary internal expert for PowerPoint, formatting, and high-impact presentations.
• Design, build, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, pages, and document libraries.
• Develop and administer Microsoft Forms for surveys, event registrations, and data collection; summarize results.
• Create, edit, and produce internal materials (presentations, infographics, flyers, intranet content) using Adobe Creative Suite.
• Establish and maintain internal visual, branding, and editorial guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into clear, visually compelling content.
• Develop internal graphics, photo galleries, and video projects; coordinate with teams.
• Maintain internal content libraries, templates, and design assets for reuse.
• Ensure accessibility and usability best practices across PDFs, presentations, and SharePoint pages.
