Job summary

Management Concepts seeks an Internal Communications & Digital Engagement Advisor – Specialist 1 to support ASA(FM&C) with SharePoint information resources and clear internal communications. You will design and administer SharePoint sites, govern content, and drive digital engagement across the workforce.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in management, accounting, economics, finance, or a related discipline; bachelor's degree in one of these or a related discipline; or no degree when the experience requirement below is met.
• Experience and education alignment: 6+ years with advanced degree; 8+ with bachelor’s; 12+ with no degree.
• SharePoint Site Design and Administration: design, build, administer, maintain, improve SharePoint sites including governance and accessibility.
• Project Communications: manage planning, writing, newsletters, leadership communications, calendars.
• Federal / Organizational Communications: relevant experience in gov/DoD contexts and stakeholder engagement.
• Writing and Editing: strong writing, editing, proofreading, storytelling, and translating technical content.

Responsibilities

• Design, administer, maintain, and improve SharePoint sites and pages with information architecture, navigation, and accessibility.
• Lead and execute all communications tasks for the project, including planning, drafting, publishing, and tracking.
• Develop, write, edit, and coordinate newsletters, internal articles, announcements, and leadership communications.
• Manage recurring SharePoint content updates; validate information with owners and SMEs for current relevance.
• Identify and communicate organizational accomplishments, modernization efforts, milestones, and workforce successes.
• Develop graphics, presentations, and digital content for workforce engagement and All Hands events.
• Plan and support internal communication campaigns using SharePoint and other channels.
• Maintain an integrated communications calendar with deadlines and milestones.
• Review communications for accuracy, tone, accessibility, formatting, and alignment with DoD standards.
• Recommend opportunities to strengthen internal communications and user experience.
