Job summary

Invenergy is seeking an Associate, Internal Communications to execute internal communication strategies and boost employee engagement. This on-site role supports leadership and promotes company culture at Invenergy’s downtown Chicago office.

You will craft internal stories, plan company-wide meetings, and collaborate with HR, external communications, and social media to strengthen Invenergy’s employment brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Media Studies, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in corporate communications, journalism, public relations or related field.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and employee communications applications.
• Excellent written communication and editing skills.
• Advanced interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop content for internal publication across multiple channels, organizations, locations, and functions.
• Assist executive and senior leadership teams with developing internal communications including leadership communications, presentations, talking points, and organizational announcements.
• Align communication across all channels with organizational objectives, messaging and culture.
• Work cross-functionally to plan companywide meetings.
• Partner with external communications, human resources, and social media teams to promote internal stories and activities that enhance Invenergy’s employment brand through social media channels (i.e. LinkedIn, Glassdoor).
• Analyze internal communications metrics and engagement data to evaluate effectiveness, generate insights, and continuously refine messaging strategies and channel approach
