Job summary

EisnerAmper invites applications for an Internal Audit Consulting Manager within our Risk & Compliance Services practice. You will lead engagements for broker/dealer, fintech, PE and RIA clients, handling SOX 404 testing and risk assessments.

Responsibilities include scoping, Audit Committee communications, and staffing decisions. You’ll drive profitability and maintain strong client relationships while guiding the engagement team.

Qualifications

• CIA or CPA certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing or related field.
• 5+ years in internal audit, consulting or related field.
• 3+ years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee internal audit and risk management engagements for financial clients.
• Lead SOX 404 engagements, including walkthroughs and control testing.
• Perform scoping and risk assessments using risk-based methods.
• Prepare Audit Committee materials and attend meetings as needed.
• Lead co-sourcing/outsourcing engagements and risk assessments.
• Maintain client relationships and manage engagement profitability.
• Review work for accuracy and provide guidance to staff.
• Own client relationships beyond current projects; anticipate resource needs.
• Occasional extended hours or travel to other offices/locations.
