Job summary

MFS is seeking a Co-op for Internal Audit in Boston, MA. The role provides hands-on experience across audit engagements, with structured activities and exposure to multiple business units within an asset management environment.

Co-ops will work under an Audit Manager and Senior Internal Auditor, gaining knowledge of the Internal Audit process and investment management practices. 6-month commitment, Mon-Fri, 35–40 hours per week, with hybrid work setup.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the performance of audit testing on assigned segments of audit engagements.
• Assisting in performing audit engagements in a professional manner per the approved testing program.
• Preparing testing documentation that records and summarizes results of audit tests.
• Participating in discussions of audit observations with business unit personnel to validate details.
• Performing periodic monitoring procedures to validate completion of Internal Audit tasks.
• Coordinating periodic internal audit committee meetings, including preparation of materials.
• Attending meetings to learn about Internal Audit topics and projects.
• Scheduling and participating in meetings with internal and external business partners.
• Other tasks/projects as requested.
