Job summary

Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club is seeking an Intern for Ticket Operations to support the ticket office and sales teams in Milwaukee, WI. The role offers hands-on experience in a MLB ticket operations environment and exposure to customer service excellence.

The internship spans 16–20 weeks with potential extension and includes duties from selling tickets to fulfilling mailings, answering inquiries, and assisting with daily office tasks, while developing skills in data handling and event day

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers across channels.
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities.
  • Cash handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in selling individual game tickets using the ProVenue system.
  • Process, print, and distribute individual tickets.
  • Fulfill ticket office mailing projects (Kids Crew, Group, All-Inclusive, Brewers Buddies, Holiday Gift).
  • Provide customer service via phone, email, online chat, and in-person at windows.

The Ticket Operations Intern will provide support for the Ticket Operations department by assisting with various administrative and operational duties throughout the office. This position will be provided with the opportunity to experience the daily functions of an MLB ticket operations department and support the ticket office management team in providing exceptional customer service as well as maximizing ticket sales and revenue opportunities. The internship typically lasts 16-20 weeks from the time of hire with a potential for extension.

Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with the Ticket Operations staff in selling individual game tickets utilizing our ProVenue ticketing system to process all ticket transactions.
  • Assist in the processing, printing, and distribution of individual tickets.
  • Assist in the fulfillment of all Ticket Office mailing projects including Kids Crew, Group and All-Inclusive Tickets, Brewers Buddies Tickets, and Holiday Gift.
  • Service and interact with customers on a regular basis to help resolve ticketing questions and concerns through our various communication avenues including phone, email, online chat and at ticket windows.
  • Help with office clerical duties, i.e. data entry, updating informational spreadsheets, filing, and general office work.
  • Assist with editing and posting on the daily check-in board during the regular season.
  • Aid in the preparation of the box office including outfitting supplies, signage placement, and other setup duties.
  • Assist Ticket Operations Coordinators with Theme & Community Nights redemption and customer service.

The ideal candidate will have 1 or more years of experience in customer service, in addition to exemplifying exceptional communication, time management and organizational skills. Candidates with prior cash handling experience are preferred.

Work Hours

Candidates are expected to work a minimum of 2 days and can be scheduled for up to a max of 30 hours per week, especially during the season. Must be flexible with working days, nights, and weekends for game days and events.
