PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Reporting to an assigned administrator, an Intern-PT assistswith general office duties and activities as determined anddirected by the supervisor and supports the strategic plans andmission of the City Colleges of Chicago (CCC).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Assists staff in the day-to-day functions of the office,including general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing,and document preparation.
- Provides support on various projects and assignments asneeded.
- Develops and maintains project work plans and action plans withclear deliverables and timelines.
- Attends meetings as requested to obtain information pertinentto assignments.
- Conducts research and analysis related to various projects andthe strategic plan and mission of the District.
- Communicates with various internal and external constituents togather data and information for use by administrators.
- Adheres to CCC Customer Service Excellence standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Reports To: Assigned Administrator
Direct Supervision: None
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program andmaintain a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Candidates who have eithercompleted an Associates degree or have earned a minimum of 60credit hours, maintaining a cumulative GPA of 2.0, and who intendto transfer to a 4-year institution, will also be considered.Completion of a high school diploma or high school equivalencycertificate required.
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and preparereports.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and inwriting.
- Ability to work within a culturally diverse environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritizetasks and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Outlook).
$17.00 - $18.00
Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education,knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as other factors such asinternal equity.
