Job summary

FAIRWINDS Credit Union invites applications for a Mortgage Intern role in Orlando. This in-office internship is 20 hours per week, running through January 11th, 2027, with compensation of $15 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Review mortgage documents for completeness, accuracy, and QA purposes.
• Assist with Verifications of Mortgage and Verification of Employment requests.
• Prepare, organize, and mail mortgage-related documents to members and third parties.
• Provide administrative support for the Mortgage Lending team.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Intern to support our Mortgage Lending team with day‑to‑day operations and administrative functions. This internship provides hands‑on experience in a professional lending environment, offering exposure to mortgage documentation, quality control processes, verifications, and loan servicing support.

This is a 20-hour per week, in-office internship opportunity that runs through January 11th, 2027 and offers $15 per hour in compensation. We also offer flexible schedules to accommodate your school schedule, as well!

Your Role In Our Mission

• Review mortgage documents for completeness, accuracy, and quality assurance purposes.
• Assist with completing Verification of Mortgage and Verification of Employment requests.
• Prepare, organize, and mail mortgage-related documents to members and third parties.
• Provide support for the Mortgage Lending team through administrative and operational tasks as assigned.
