Job summary

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in CS, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field at an accredited school.
  • Must have completed at least 30 semester hours prior to start date.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
  • Spring interns may work up to 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build Power Apps to improve HR and internal communication processes.
  • Create and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize workforce data and engagement metrics.
  • Support optimization of SharePoint sites and lists for internal collaboration.
  • Automate workflows using Power Automate (approvals, notifications, data collection).
  • Partner with People & Culture and Production to translate needs into digital solutions.
  • Document solutions and create simple user guides for adoption.

What You Will Do
  • Design and build Power Apps to improve HR and internal communication processes (e.g., HR dashboard, request forms, engagement tools)
  • Create and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize workforce data, engagement metrics, and communications impact
  • Support the optimization of SharePoint sites and lists for internal collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Automate workflows using Power Automate (e.g., approvals, notifications, data collection)
  • Partner with People & Culture and Production stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into digital solutions
  • Help improve employee experience by making tools more intuitive, accessible, and engaging
  • Document solutions and create simple user guides for adoption
Who are you?

  • Basic experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, SharePoint; Power Automate is a plus)
  • Interest in HR, employee experience, internal communications, or organizational effectiveness
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to translate business needs into simple technical solutions
  • Comfortable working with data (Excel, dashboards, reporting)
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Applicant must be currently enrolled and pursuing a Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies prior to the start of the internship.
  • Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75

The hourly rate for these roles is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, academic classification, and degree seeking area of study.
