Orgill is in search of rising juniors or seniors actively enrolled in college or university looking to gain hands‑on experience while displaying talents learned. As a summer intern at Orgill you will have the opportunity to work with emerging leaders and experienced professionals at the nation’s largest and fastest growing independent hardlines distribution company. Our robust internship program is looking for talented, innovative students ready to develop skills, challenge subject knowledge and build towards a distinct path to a dream career. Interns will have the unique chance to build a knowledge base while leading a project with top performers on the team. Throughout the summer you will also participate in hands‑on tasks that contribute to the company’s mission and goals. The Human Resources Intern will gain hands‑on experience supporting a variety of Human Resources functions and initiatives at Orgill. This position allows students to be apart of real‑world HR projects while working alongside experienced HR professionals and business partners.
The intern may have the opportunity to contribute to areas such as talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, benefits, talent development, HR operations, HRIS, and HR reporting and analytics. Assignments will be based on business needs as well as the intern’s academic background, skills, and career interests.
This internship provides meaningful project‑based experience and a broad understanding of how Human Resources supports both employees and organizational goals.
