Midland States Bank is seeking a Finance Intern in Effingham, IL to support the Accounting and FP&A teams. You will assist with daily accounting tasks, reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting, gaining broad exposure to corporate finance within banking.
The internship runs Summer 2027 (mid-May to early August). You will work a 40-hour week, Monday–Friday, at the Effingham office, with opportunities to learn systems and contribute to projects across the finance function.

Exact compensation is determined by factors such as (but not limited to) education, skills, internal equity, and experience. This position offers additional compensation in the form of short-term incentives (i.e. bonus and/or commission) and may include long-term incentives (i.e. stock awards). The Finance Intern will support the Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams with recurring accounting and financial reporting activities, budgeting and forecasting support, and special projects that provide broad exposure to corporate finance within the banking industry.
