Midland States Bank is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management Intern in St. Louis, MO, to support the risk management department with operational risk framework, governance processes, and reporting.
The role runs Summer 2027 (May–August), requires residency near St. Louis, and enrollment in a related degree program with at least two years completed. Excel and Teams proficiency, plus strong attention to detail, are essential.
At Midland States Bank, base salary is one component of our Total Rewards program. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as (but not limited to) education, skills, internal equity, and experience. This position offers additional compensation in the form of short-term incentives (i.e. bonus and/or commission) and may include long-term incentives (i.e. stock awards). The Enterprise Risk Management Intern will provide assistance to the Enterprise Risk Management Department with recurring risk management responsibilities and special projects that support the Bank's operational risk framework, governance processes, and enterprise-wide risk reporting.
Education/Experience: The internship will run for Summer of 2027 beginning mid-May and ending early August.
Able to work a 40‑hour work week, Monday-Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
