Job summary

TMEIC Corporation in Houston seeks a technical professional to provide software design support for control solutions and drafting and hardware design support for electrical distribution and control systems on energy and infrastructure projects.

You will develop and simulate software for industrial controllers and HMIs, create electrical drawings with CAD, and produce project documentation while adhering to design standards and project milestones.

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma and pursuing a relevant BS/MS program with control automation coursework.
Demonstrated problem solving skills.
Demonstrated successful working relationships with others, clients, suppliers, and external contacts.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
Willingness to travel domestically up to ~5%.

Responsibilities

Gather information to assess project requirements for assigned scope of work.
Create electrical drawings reflecting project circuits, drives, distribution, I/O, and control equipment using CAD.
Develop plant layouts, enclosure drawings, and BOM-based documentation.
Edit drawings for preliminary, manufacturing, and final configurations.
Update drawings to support site commissioning activities.
Provide status reports to stakeholders.
