The Bridge Inspection Intern supports the state's NBIS-compliant bridge inspection program by assisting with field inspections of bridges, box culverts, and pipe culverts throughout the state. This internship provides hands-on experience with inspection tools, field data collection, and mobile inspection software, offering practical exposure to structural evaluation and transportation asset management. This internship involves frequent travel to field sites across the eastern half of the state. Work includes exposure to traffic, heights, water, and active construction zones.
Requires satisfactory completion of the interview process and successful completion of a job function screening.
