Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern for our summer program to join our team. You will get hands-on exposure to the assets in our energy portfolio, focusing on gas and liquids processing, transmission, and storage.

Responsibilities include process simulation, system modeling, measurements, equipment sizing, and day-to-day field operations supporting pipeline, storage, and terminal systems.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as an undergraduate student majoring in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical engineering.
• Sophomore level or higher completed; active progress toward degree.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with assets in energy portfolio; learn gathering, processing, treating, transmission, storage, and export of natural gas/liquids.
• Assist with process simulation, system modeling, gas/fluid flow measurements, and equipment maintenance tasks.

Summary: We are seeking a motivated, dynamic, personable, and professional Engineering Intern for our summer program to join our team!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• The main objective for the intern is to become familiar with the assets in our energy portfolio, gaining experience in gathering, processing, treating, transmission storing, and export of natural gas and/or liquids.
• Responsibilities will vary with location but may include process simulation and system modeling, gas and fluid flow measurements, pipe and vessel sizing calculations, equipment functions, and maintenance requirements, and the day to day field operations of pipeline, storage, and terminal systems.

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

• Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program majoring engineering disciplines include Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical at a minimum completion of sophomore level engineering courses.
• General requirements include self-motivated individuals, involvement in activities outside college studies.
• Above average GPA
