Job summary

Langan seeks an Intern/Co‑op in Site/Civil Engineering to support feasibility studies, field work, and design documentation at our Inland Empire, CA office. You will work with industry leaders on diverse land development projects and gain hands‑on experience.

The role involves preparing reports, plans and schedules using AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and assisting with design calculations and permitting activities. Travel may be required based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four‑year or advanced degree in Civil Engineering with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil engineering and land development projects.
• Prepare and modify reports, plans, schedules, cost estimates and construction documents using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related tools.
• Analyze maps, drawings, tests and geotechnical data to support feasibility and design decisions.
• Support zoning, permit assessments and project feasibility analyses.
• Provide field inspection support and collaborate with team members on assignments.
