Job summary

Langan is seeking an Intern/Co‑op – Site/Civil Engineering to join its collaborative team in Jacksonville, FL. This individual will serve a key function in supporting site feasibility studies which may involve field work, technical report preparation and calculations, pre‑construction conditions documentation, design plans and specifications.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and experience technically and professionally by partnering directly with industry

Qualifications

• Cumulative GPA 3.0 or greater preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil/infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and modify engineering documents (reports, specs, plans, schedules, cost estimates).
• Use reports, maps, drawings, and photos to assess soil, terrain, and hydrology for planning and design.
• Support zoning, permit assessments, and feasibility analyses.
• Provide field inspection services as needed.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks.
