Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services in Inland Empire, CA is seeking an Intern/Co-op – Site/Civil Engineering to support site feasibility studies. This role involves field work, technical report prep and calculations, and contributing to design plans and specifications.

You will expand your knowledge by partnering with industry leadership on diverse land development projects, gaining hands-on experience in design, permitting, and project coordination.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year or advanced degree in Civil Engineering.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects.
• Assist with preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, schedules, cost estimates and design plans using engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• Analyze soil, terrain, hydrological and geologic data for planning and design.
• Support zoning, permit assessments, and feasibility analyses based on data collected.
• Provide field inspection services as needed.
• Apply engineering knowledge and advanced math techniques.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks.
• Perform other duties as requested.
