Job summary

MedPro Group in Fort Wayne, IN offers a year-round, onsite internship starting December 2026, for 15–20 hours per week during the school year and summer. Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly claim activity reports and management metrics.
• Maintain the Defense Panel list.
• Update semi-annual Defense Panel Scorecard.
• Prepare monthly Claims optimization presentation.
• Collaborate with Divisional Claim managers to improve metrics.
• Prepare monthly International Claims files and presentations.
• Select claims and prepare forms for quarterly audits.
• Validate monthly vendor reports and load into the claim management system; communicate with vendors.
• Assist with ad hoc audits and data requests.
• Take on other projects as assigned.
• Participate in company and community activities.

This is a year-round, onsite internship at our Fort Wayne, IN office. The ideal candidate would begin working part-time hours beginning in December 2026.

In this role, you will…

• Prepare weekly claim activity reports and send out high level management metrics
• Maintain the Defense Panel list.
• Prepare semi-annual updates of the Defense Panel Scorecard.
• Prepare the monthly Claims optimization presentation.
• Work directly with Divisional Claim managers to ensure optimization of operational metrics.
• Assist in preparation of monthly International Claims files and presentations.
• Select claims and prepare forms for quarterly claims audits
• Validate monthly vendor reports and load into claim management system.Correspond with vendors.
• Assist with ad hoc claim audits and data requests
• Take on other projects as assigned.
• Participate in company and community activities.

We are looking for candidates with…

• Active enrollment in a Finance, Accounting or Actuarial Science Bachelor’s degree program.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
• Insurance knowledge (helpful but not required).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Year-round availability to work in the Fort Wayne office 15-20 hours/week during the school year and summer.
• Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship, both now and in the future.
