Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineering Intern to join our teams in Hillsboro, OR. You will help create automated test software, assist in RF/mechanical design tasks, and analyze test data under seasoned mentors.

The role targets BS/MS/PhD students in Electrical Engineering or CS with a 3.0+ GPA, knowledge of VB.NET/C#, LabVIEW, and Altium. Opportunity to explore full-time openings within the company.

Formación

• Currently pursuing BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Analog/RF circuit design coursework.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as VB.NET, C# or other OO language.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Self-starter with good communication skills.
• Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling.

Responsabilidades

• Creation of automated test software using a language similar to C to control test equipment and execute test plans.
• Support RF fixture and probe card design activities including PCB design and layout, test socket design and interface cabling design.
• Measure product using test equipment like DC source/measure units, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators and digital pattern generators.
• Process, verify and analyze the measured data; produce clear concise presentations and reports.
• Document test system and software designs.
• Develop measurement automation using C++ and Microsoft C#.NET or NI LabVIEW with custom tools.
• Develop product interface fixture to probe the product using Altium Designer and Keysight ADS.

Test Engineering Intern

Skyworks' Test Engineering Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, and RF and Mixed-Signal Intelligence business groups. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Required Experience And Skills

Desired Experience And Skills

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $29.00 - $49.00 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $23.00 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
