Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting engineers in DC/RF test and data analysis, documenting PCM, improving inline monitoring, and supporting fab yield reporting. Qualifications: pursuing BS/MS/PhD in EE/IE/CS, 3.0 GPA min, strong data analysis and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
• Strong data analysis skills (statistic based arguments).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced engineers in DC/RF test, measurement, and data analysis.
• Document existing process control modules (PCM) and their characterization focus.
• Improve monitoring of critical inline process monitors.
• Support Fab operations by maintaining and improving Yield web reports.
• Analyze and correlate test data to fabrication process.
• Develop and improve semiconductor fabrication flows and processes, where applicable.

Skyworks' Device Engineering Internships are offered in our Technology & Manufacturing (TMG) business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Required Experience And Skills

• Currently pursuing a BS, MS, PhD in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Strong data analysis skills (statistic based arguments)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Self-Starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail

Desired Experience And Skills

• Knowledge of Spotfire, SharePoint, CAD preferred

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $29.00 - $49.00 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $23.00 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
