Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is offering a Customer Quality Engineering Internship in the Technology & Manufacturing group. Interns gain real work experience, exposure to upper management, and opportunities for full-time roles as available.

The program provides challenging assignments, mentoring, and networking, with projects defined by business needs. This position is not visa-sponsored and is designed for current students.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Knowledge of basic circuit theory and statistics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail

• Data analysis and database searches for quality issue problem resolution
• Standardizing & improving business processes
• Using internal databases to determine product history
• Participating in problem solving customer quality issues

Description

Skyworks' Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program. Skyworks offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full-time opportunities, as available.

Skyworks' Customer Quality Engineering Internships are offered in our Technology & Manufacturing business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $29.00 - $49.00 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $23.00 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
